Driving Directions to/from the Center for Policy Research
Syracuse University’s Center for Policy Research is most easily reached from Interstate 81. New York State Thruway Travelers should exit at Interstate 81 (exit 36) and proceed south. Both northbound and southbound travelers on I-81 should exit at Adams St. (exit 18). Proceed up the Adams St. hill to Irving Ave. and turn right. Turn left on Waverly Ave, then turn right at the first light. Go up to guard shack. Take road up the hill to main quad. Center for Policy Research is located in the first building on your right, Eggers Hall. CPR is located on the 4th floor of Eggers Hall.
Directions to Center for Policy Research from Irving Garage
Syracuse University’s Center for Policy Research is most easily reached from Interstate 81. New York State Thruway Travelers should exit at Interstate 81 (exit 36) and proceed south. Both northbound and southbound travelers on I81 should exit at Adams St. (exit 18). Proceed up the Adams St. hill to Irving Ave. and turn right. Continue on Irving Ave to the end (you basically come to a Y) at that stop sign turn right onto East Raynor Ave. Make your next right onto Stadium Place. Irving Garage is the first garage on your right. From the garage go to the 5th floor and cross the bridge onto the west side of campus, continue straight from the bridge to the next set of stairs which will bring you to the patio of the Law School. The Maxwell School will be the newer building on your left. CPR is located on the 4th floor.
Driving to the University Avenue Visitors Parking Lot for the Center for Policy Research
Syracuse University Syracuse University’s Center for Policy Research is most easily reached from Interstate 81. New York State Thruway Travelers should exit at Interstate 81 (exit 36) and proceed south. Both northbound and southbound travelers on I-81 should exit at Adams St. (exit 18). At this exit stay in the left lane and go under the overpass and then remain in the center lane. At the second light you will turn left and proceed up the Adams Street hill to University Avenue. Turn right, then take your first left into the University Avenue garage. Maxwell/Eggers Hall is approximately 2 blocks from the parking area up the hill.
Driving to the Syracuse University Sheraton Hotel
Syracuse University Syracuse University’s Center for Policy Research is most easily reached from Interstate 81. New York State Thruway Travelers should exit at Interstate 81 (exit 36) and proceed south. Both northbound and southbound travelers on I-81 should exit at Adams St. (exit 18). At this exit stay in the left lane and go under the overpass and then remain in the center lane. At the second light you will turn left and proceed up the Adams Street hill to University Avenue. Turn right, continue on University Avenue, and the Sheraton University Hotel will be on your left.
Driving from Syracuse University to NYS Thruway
From South Crouse Ave turn left on Waverly Ave. Turn Right on Irving Ave. Turn left on Harrison Street and stay in the right hand lane until the road becomes a 4 lane road then stay in the 2nd from the right hand lane. You will turn right and go up the ramp onto I-81 North. Once on the ramp you should stay in the left hand lane and merge with traffic moving in one lane to the left. Take I-81 North to Exit 36, Follow signs to NYS Thruway.
Driving from Syracuse University to Hancock International Airport
