CPR Alumni Job Placement


Because it is the oldest and one of the largest programs of its kind in the United States and particularly because of the strong national and international reputation of the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, CPR graduate associates have obtained a wide range of positions in the general area of public policy analysis. They have access to a network of alumni contacts throughout the country, and a full-time placement director is available in the Maxwell School to counsel them, arrange internships, and develop job opportunities. The following partial listing gives an indication of the type of placement obtained by CPR graduate associates.

 

Academic Positions:

The Universities of Connecticut, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Massachusetts, North Carolina- Chapel Hill, the Philippines, Tennessee, and Washington; Auburn, Louisiana State University; Rochester Institute of Technology; Purdue University, the United States Naval Academy, and SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica.

 

Public Sector:

Social Security Administration, Congressional Budget Office; Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta and San Francisco; New York State Division of Budget and of Taxation; Oak Ridge Laboratories; Port Authority of New York-New Jersey; U.S. Agency for International Development; U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Treasury; and The World Bank

 

Private Sector:

ABT Associates, AT&T, Bank of Boston, Chemical Bank, Urban Institute, RAND Corporation, The Lewin Group, and the National Association of Home Builders
